EURO 08
The 13th European football championship, UEFA EURO 2008™, will take place from June 7 to 29, 2008, hosted for the first time by Austria and Switzerland. Sixteen national teams will go head-to-head. The 2008 European Champions will be decided in the final on June 29, 2008 in Vienna.
In total, over a million fans are expected to watch the 31 matches in eight different cities. Several million more are expected in the host cities' official fan zones. Last but not least, it is thought that total TV viewing figures will add up to more than five billion.
